Didcot, Abingdon & Wantage Talking Newspaper

DAWN is a registered charity in the UK which provides weekly audio recordings of the Didcot Abingdon and Wantage newspapers, free of charge, for the blind and partially sighted.

DAWN posts the recordings to each listener on a USB memory stick which is returned by post. There is no charge or cost to listeners as the Royal Mail does not charge to deliver articles for the blind. DAWN provides free portable MP3 players to all listeners when required.

DAWN recordings are also now accessible through the BWBF Alexa skill.

Contact us at help@dawntn.org.uk if you require any help with your USB player or would like assistance in setting up a smart speaker.

The links at the top of this page allow you to find out more about DAWN, how to subscribe to the service and how to make contact if you have a query with the recordings or with your player. It also describes all about volunteering with us.
